I am a Nashville Recording Artist blessed with the opportunity to work alongside Keagan Ferrell—Nashville producer and finalist on The Voice. That collaboration helped shape the sound and spirit of what would become JacksonVibe.
Our band was born in the heart of Fort Wayne, IN during the height of the COVID pandemic—a moment in history when isolation and uncertainty made connection through music more essential than ever. JacksonVibe isn’t just a group of musicians; it’s a reflection of lived experience, resilience, and the power of sound to uplift and inspire.
As the front man, (Derrick Jackson) created JacksonVibe from a deeply personal place. Growing up as a foster child across Ohio—from quiet rural towns to the streets of downtown Cleveland—I learned early that music was the one constant I could carry with me. It became my sanctuary, my voice, and ultimately, my gift to share.
JacksonVibe is my biography in rhythm and harmony. We blend soul, funk, gospel, acoustic storytelling, and more—each style chosen to spark reflection and elevate the spirit. No matter the genre, our mission remains the same: to connect, to heal, and to celebrate the human journey through music.
